Hard love 26

Uhh yeah its been a month and i cannot really remember my train of thought, so where was it that we last left off. lets pick up.pick up. (i had to add that...)

uhh

"I'm kinda feeling awkward, Abi." Patrick inhaled guilt.

"Me too. But being with you seems... I don't know. Forbidden almost." Patrick turned his head slightly towards the side of the setting sun. Abi's body silhouetted (spelling?) onto Patrick's car.

"Why?" Patrick couldn't come to reason with Abi's responce. Abi looked up into Patrick's green eyes.

"I don't think you want to know." She turned to face the city.

"Why not?" Patrick still couldn't understand the whole question.

"I really can't answer that." She said quietly. An awkward silence breezed through. The sun was dipping down into the dark abiss of the Sierra Mountains.

"Can we go now?" Abi said quietly again. Patrick shook his head yes. Trying to lighten up the dark, Patrick thought up a plan. He smirked devilishly.

"Why are you smiling like that?" Abi said amused with his expression.

"It's my turn now." He turned on the car and reversed backwards very fast. Then hit the gas to speed faster than normal. An amusement park ride back home. The sun barely began disappearing behind the mountains, when they arrived back to the city. Patrick parked his car infront of the building. Abi opened her eyes from her sleep, to see a Starbucks coffee shop.

"This was the big secret?" Abi said disappointed.

"This," Patrick pointed at Starbucks, " is part one. Part two, is over there."

"Where?" Abi said looking in the direction of his finger.

"Now aren't we eager for something so disappointing?" Patrick's expression could cause anyone to spring up and smile. They entered the ventilated shop and stood infront of the counter, seeking anything familiar.

"I'm not sure what to get." Patrick examined the boards of specials and seasonal coffees.

"I, recommend getting the Cafe Latte." Abi said leaning towards the 'starbucks-stupid' boy.

"Is that good?"  Abi gave a mean expression.  "Okay...."

"Im getting the Cinnamon Dolce Latte. Very die-licious." Patrick raised his eyebrow.

"Die-licious?" Before Abi could respond they were up next.

"Hi, can I have a grande Cinnamon Dolce latte and a tall Cafe latte?" The girl nodded and wrote the order down on the cups.

"Whats the name?"

"Abi." The girl nodded again and sent the cups to another worked. They both made their way to the back of the shop waiting for their orders. Then started conversing about any random subject that came to mind.

"You know what, I always seem to think that when I go to france, waiting for me at a coffee shop will be a big coffee mug that has the label "Drink Me." in beautiful writing." Patrick's mouth slightly wide open.

"Did you realize you said that in like 10 seconds with out taking a breath of air?"

"No. But heather tells me that I get to talking really fast and I dont really seem to realize it until I finish or when she stopps to interrupt. Or when joe covers my mouth, the only way to shut me up sometimes. Actually I dont even realize it afterwards. I just talk continually and in monotomy. It's quite numbing actually." Patrick shocked again.

"Okay. Im not sure how to respond to that." Patrick stated.
